What ToolConnect Does
RFID Tool Identification
The ToolConnect RFID system automatically transfers tool presetter measurement data directly to and from the CNC control via RFID tags embedded in tool holders. Tools are measured at the presetter where data is written to the tag — when the tool is loaded, ToolConnect reads the tag and updates the control instantly.
2D Barcode Scanning
For shops that prefer barcode-based workflows, ToolConnect supports 2D printed barcode tags. The system automatically transfers tool presetter measurement data directly to the correct fields in the CNC control via barcode scan — no post-processor required.
Tool Verification
ToolConnect verifies that the correct tool is being loaded into the correct machine pocket before the program runs. This prevents costly crashes caused by wrong-tool loading — one of the most common and expensive errors on the shop floor.
Universal Shop Floor Interface
ToolConnect provides a common, intuitive operator interface across every CNC machine on the shop floor. Regardless of control type or machine brand, operators interact with the same familiar screens — reducing training time and eliminating control-specific errors.
