RMA Request

Please submit this form and attach your Purchase Order in the amount of $125 (per unit) to cover the evaluation fee. Once we receive both, we will issue your RMA and instructions for the repair process.

Please note that this process can take up to 8 weeks if the unit requires further evaluation in Germany. If the unit is repaired or replaced, this fee will be waived.

Customers have 30 days to reply once they have received a quotation for the item. No response may result in automatic scrapping of the part if not deemed economically repairable, or if repairable, the item will be shipped back to the customer as received.

NOTE: Please enclose a copy of the RMA form with your shipment.

As of 1/1/25, TC and Z probes are no longer eligible for repair. Repairs for probes are not cost effective — repairs are unreliable and do not stand the test of time, and extensive lead times require all repairs to go to Germany for evaluation.

We now offer an RBE (Repair by Exchange) Program. With the Exchange program you will receive a new probe at a discounted rate if the unit qualifies. Similar to the RMA program, please submit a purchase order for the RMA and we will evaluate if the probe qualifies for the program.

Crashed and/or damaged units will not qualify — only probes without physical damage can be entered into the program for a discounted rate. Once evaluated we will email a quote stating whether the unit qualifies at a discounted rate or if a new unit needs to be purchased at full price. If a new unit is purchased at either rate, the evaluation fee will be waived.

To minimize downtime and reduce paperwork, please refrain from submitting units that are crashed or physically damaged; instead, please request a quote for a new unit by emailing [email protected].

The unit must be returned unused with original packaging and all documentation. If the part has been opened it is not eligible for return.

Once we receive the unit we will credit the original invoice minus a 25% restocking fee. If the unit is not returned within 30 days the RMA will be closed and you will be billed the full amount.
