Bore Gauge Systems — Precision Cylinder Bore Measurement
Precision Cylinder Bore Measurement
Bore Gauge Systems
The Blum BG60 and BG61 bore gauge systems deliver fast, highly accurate in-process and post-process measurement of cylinder bores directly on the CNC machining centre. Designed for the harshest production environments, these gauges eliminate the need to transfer parts to a CMM and enable closed-loop correction of bore diameters in real time.
BG60 — Bore Gauge for Machining Centres
Best for: machining centres requiring in-process bore measurement with micron-level accuracy and direct CNC feedback. The BG60 is a pneumatic bore gauge designed for use in CNC machining centres. It measures bore diameters with micron-level accuracy and transmits results directly to the control for automatic offset correction. The compact design fits standard tool holders and requires no external air supply unit.
- Micron-level bore diameter measurement
- Direct integration with CNC control for automatic offset correction
- Compact design fits standard tool holders
- Suitable for bores from 6 mm to 200 mm diameter
- Coolant and chip resistant for harsh production environments
BG61 — Extended Range Bore Gauge
Best for: larger bores or deeper bore geometries where the BG60's range is insufficient. The BG61 extends the BG60 concept to larger bore diameters and deeper bore geometries. It shares the same direct-to-control communication architecture, enabling seamless integration into existing Blum measurement cycles.
- Extended diameter range for large bore applications
- Deep bore geometry capability
- Compatible with existing Blum measurement cycles
- High-speed measurement reduces cycle time impact
